Dr. Nathaniel Janzen
Dr. Nathaniel Janzen is a life-long athlete and primary healthcare practitioner specializing in the body’s musculoskeletal system. He draws from a wealth of knowledge from university degrees obtained in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, and Chiropractic.
Nathaniel advocates for interdisciplinary healthcare and strives to be a role model through movement-based physical wellness. He is listed as a preferred provider with Pain BC, a local non-profit organization reducing the burden of pain in our province.
Nathaniel helps those with chronic pain, sports injuries, acute flare-ups, and maintenance wellness care. He believes the key to a successful treatment plan begins with a thoughtful assessment to find out what the root cause of a complaint is. His treatment style is a combination of modern chiropractic manual joint manipulation, soft tissue release, biomechanical postural strengthening, and functional movement coaching. He has a special interest in bringing sports injury rehabilitation and athletic performance techniques into everyday movements to equip patients with the means to get stronger, more resilient, and move well.
Outside of chiropractic, Dr. Janzen has taught anatomy and pathology courses at Vancouver Career College’s RMT program. Always looking for a new challenge, he has competed for team Canada at the age group world triathlon championships in London, is an accomplished swimmer and coach, top-100 finisher in the Sun Run, and loves trail running, back-country hiking, and climbing.
