Karel Robert-Robitaille

Karel graduated from the University of Montreal with a Bachelor’s in Nutrition. She is currently completing a diploma in Sports Nutrition with the International Olympic Committee to deepen her knowledge and help athletes optimize their performance and overall health.
She moved to British Columbia 3 years ago, drawn by her passion for climbing, the outdoors and the like-minded community. She has always been deeply interested in nutrition, striving to help others find balance and joy in their eating habits.
Karel’s practice is rooted in an evidence-based, weight-inclusive approach, offering tailored nutritional support in the following areas:
- Sports Nutrition: Karel helps athletes optimize their performance and recovery, providing personalized guidance for specific needs such as plant-based diets, training in high-altitude or extreme environments, and navigating the often-confusing world of supplements.
- Disordered Eating and Food Relationships: Karel assists clients in rebuilding healthy, balanced relationships with food and body image using a compassionate, non-dieting approach. She helps individuals struggling with their food relationship by fostering a more intuitive and mindful approach to eating.
- General Nutrition: Karel offers guidance on a wide range of nutrition concerns, from digestive health and chronic disease management to nutrient deficiencies and food allergies. Her personalized care is designed to meet the unique needs of those she works with.
Karel is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their health goals while fostering a sustainable, positive relationship with food. She believes that healthy eating must encompass many facets to satisfy our biological, psychological, and social needs. Her practice is driven by a commitment to evidence-based care, ensuring that everyone receives tailored, compassionate support.
Outside of work, you can find Karel rock climbing, running and cooking some yummy food in the kitchen!
