Lara has a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and strength, alleviate pain and improve their quality of life.
Her patient-centered approach combines evidence-based techniques and personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs for anyone from desk athletes to professional athletes, young or wiser. She likes uncovering the root cause of injuries or pain to provide long term solutions and healing. She is dedicated to empowering patients and providing a supportive environment, and working together to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
Her clinical interests include sports injuries/rehab, chronic pain, orthopaedic surgery post-operative care (including knee and hip joint replacement), knee and hip osteoarthritis, pre and postnatal care, and Clinical Pilates. Treatments may include manual therapy, dry needling, exercise, education, movement retraining and shockwave therapy.
She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia where she received a Master’s of Physiotherapy. As a lifelong learner she has taken several post graduate courses throughout her career.
When not working with patients Lara can be found in Squamish doing Squamish things (skiing, biking, going to the farmer’s market and out for ice cream) with her hubby and son.
